We know that looking for a new church home is not easy and meeting unfamiliar people can feel daunting. Even though we don’t know you, yet, we want you to know that we would love to meet you and help you see if you feel at home at First Christian Church.
We’re a congregation on the smaller size, but we’ve got kids and adults of all ages with all kinds of interests. We love to worship together and gather in a variety of ways for different age groups.
But, mostly, we’re here to celebrate God’s love for all of us and our love for God. We hope to see you soon!
Our Identity
We are imperfect people trying our best to serve others, love Jesus, and are hopeful about God’s possibilities for all.
What does this mean? It means we don't always get everything right, but we love each other through our challenges because we know we're all a work in progress. We're here not just to think about ourselves, but to act on the ways we think God is asking us to help others.
And, we believe that faith is a journey and not a destination and it's a journey we want to take with others. We're also a hopeful people, and we know that God is with us as we live out our faith together.
Our Purpose
We believe our purpose as a faith community is to love God and serve others.
We do this through worship, Sunday school, kid/youth activities, adult activities, multi-generational gatherings, supporting community non-profits, and service projects.
Right now all of our in person activities are on pause because of covid, but we hope that we can continue our community activities soon.
Services
Services are held every Sunday morning at 10am. We practice physical distancing and currently wear masks to help protect one another while we worship together.
